The Community Oriented Policing program has been a great success. Get involved and make a difference.
Our annual safety fair is held the week of Harvest Day's celebration. Neighborhoods hold block parties where officers attend and become familiar with you and provide information on keeping our homes and families safe.
The expanded Community Policing Program now utilizes all of Midvale City Police Officers. The city is divided into seven neighborhood areas referred to as beats. Each beat now has several officers assigned to assist neighbors helping neighborhoods. Click here for map.
Business Watch was developed by the Community Officers. This program is similar to Neighborhood Watch. Midvale Police Department works closely with the Midvale Chamber of Commerce. Businesses are given training on check fraud, and other types of crimes. They now have a network in which to communicate with each to help solve their common problems.
Part of a good crime prevention program is getting to meet the officers that will be protecting you, your family, your homes and businesses. Officers are available to give safety talks, crime awareness presentations and demonstrations to groups of all sizes and ages. Contact Officer Ken Davis, 256-2512, to schedule an event.
